​Join us for an energizing, relaxing and magical summer week in the region of Leon & Castilla in Spain. This region is well known for its rich history, culture and traditions. It is located in the Northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, just 147 miles (2.5 hours) from Madrid.

This retreat will include shared accommodations in pristine villas in the heart of the town of Gordoncillo, four morning yoga practices grounded in the themes of the Alchemist, dharma lectures and pranayama sessions, three Spanish meals a day and access to an outdoor pool.

In addition to relaxation, this is a great opportunity to experience the authentic Spanish wines produced in this town during our winery visit and at meals. For our travel enthusiasts, we will also have the opportunity to enjoy two day excursions to the City of Leon and nearby Portugal. 

Included in the price of the retreat:

  • First night stay accommodations in Madrid if arriving on Saturday, August 31

    • These will be basic shared accommodations, likely in a hostel-esque environment

  • Ground Transportation to/from Madrid --> Gordoncillo on Sunday, September 1 and back on Saturday, September 7

  • 6 nights of accommodations in private villas in double room occupancy

  • 3 traditional Spanish meals per day with local wine pairings if desired

  • Morning yoga practices as taught by Erik Burling

  • Group visit to the local award-winning winery in town

  • Group transportation/travel for two day trips to Leon & Portugal

Not included in price of retreat:

  • Airfare (flights from JFK or Newark to Madrid are currently around $500 round-trip)

  • Trip insurance

  • Additional excursions or attraction fees 

  • Meals arriving in and leaving Madrid

Registration and Payment:

  • Retreat cost is $1,275/person in shared accommodation with one other person

    • To request a private room, the cost is $1,900

  • $300 non-refundable deposit will hold your spot

  • Total payment must be received no later than July 15, 2019
