OVERVIEW

In 1909, the Reading Railroad completed construction of 915 Spring Garden Street. Over the 20th century, manufacturing gave way to fine arts — the building was transformed from railroad offices into a textile factory, print shop, warehouse, and studio space. Inspired by its history and architecture, Arts + Crafts Holdings purchased the building in 2016 with the goal of restoring it to its former glory.

Today, 915 Spring Garden is a mix of 40 artist studios and creative office space that recognizes the long history of the building. Turn-key suite availability ranges in size from 1,917–3,066 SF and features open floor plans that pour with natural light, attractive views, and high ceilings. Artist studios range from 400–1,000 SF. The building offers 24/7 secured access and a loading area with freight elevator access for all tenants, office and studio users alike.

The 40 studio spaces have been renovated for makers, artists, and creators from all disciplines — some leased to artists who previously had space in the building, alongside new neighbors. Build-to-suit office space is also available, featuring vaulted, uncovered ceilings, double-height windows with Viaduct views, bike storage, new elevators, polished concrete floors, and security cameras.

Located in the Spring Arts neighborhood of Philadelphia, this rapidly expanding area is filled with young professionals, creative office users, and artists, alongside numerous music venues, restaurants, and breweries — including Triple Bottom Brewing on the building's ground floor, plus Yards, Love City Brewing Co., and many other eateries and music venues within walking distance. Nearby to Northern Liberties, Old City, Chinatown, and Fairmount, this area is highly accessible, with convenient access to I-676, I-76, and I-95 leading to Center City, New Jersey, and the Philadelphia suburbs. Multiple SEPTA bus routes serve the area, as well as both the Market-Frankford and Broad-Ridge Spur subway lines.
